Grant’s Zebra

Grant's Zebra

Zebras are one of the few wild horses left in the wild. Grant’s Zebras have very wide stripes on their hindquarters. Their stripes continue all the way around the stomach area. They have a short, upright mane and are one of the smallest zebras – standing only 4 feet at the shoulder. They weigh 500 to 600 pounds. The Grant’s Zebra is the smallest of six subspecies of the plains zebra. This subspecies represents the zebra form of the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem.

I think they are so beautiful!

Thanks for taking the time to look and have a great week! -Dina 🙂
